How It Works

Adaptive learning, scoped to school.

Same patent-pending engine that powers our certification platform — wrapped in tooling for classes, gradebooks, and parents.

How it works, step by step

  1. Step 01 06

    Your knowledge has a shape.

The engine tracks proficiency at the concept level — not chapters, not units, individual concepts. A 7th grader studying pre-algebra is mapped against ~800 concepts. The engine knows which ones are mastered, which are wobbling, which haven't been touched.

    Concept-level proficiency model

  2. Step 02 06

    Activities are selected, not assigned.

Every interaction is the activity the engine thinks will teach the most in the least time, given your current proficiency on every concept and the standards your teacher is targeting. Thirteen activity formats — flashcards, multiple-choice, scenario-based, error-detection, micro-challenges, hands-on labs — picked dynamically.

    13 activity formats

  3. Step 03 06

    Wrong is diagnostic, not punitive.

Miss a quadratic word problem? The engine traces it to the prerequisite that actually broke — fraction operations, substitution, rate-of-change — and prescribes that as the next thing to study. "Wrong, try again" is replaced with "here's the part that's actually missing."

    Prerequisite gap detection

  4. Step 04 06

Teachers see standards mastery, not just grades.

Class × concept × standard heatmap. Per-student standards profile. Engagement signals. Real-time live view of who's working on what. One-page parent-conference PDF for every kid.

    Standards-aligned analytics

  5. Step 05 06

Parents see the work, not just the grade.

Per-subject readiness, time on task, what's mastered, what's struggling. Weekly summary email Sunday evening. Opt-in alerts when a grade slips or engagement drops. Co-managed accounts: parent sees, kid owns.

    Read-only parent visibility

  6. Step 06 06

    Standards-aligned out of the box.

Common Core State Standards (ELA + Math), Next Generation Science Standards, state-specific frameworks (TEKS, NY P-12, FL B.E.S.T., CA Content Standards, others). Every activity maps to ≥1 standard. Standards rollups update live as students complete work.
